Unlike clip-in extensions, bonding extensions – also known as pre-bonded or bonded hair extensions – were developed specifically for permanent hair lengthening. Applied by a specialist, this method is invisible and can hardly be felt. Each strand is fused to a small section of your natural hair via a keratin bond that softens with heat. The big advantage: keratin bondings sit extremely securely and won't slip out.
Bonded hair extensions can be worn for around three to six months. Since they are firmly attached to your own hair, they grow out over time and need repositioning at regular intervals.
