Unlike human hair extensions in the form of individual strands, wefts consist of hair laid closely together and carefully sewn at the end with a double seam. If you want a permanent hair extension, you can have them sewn in or attached to your natural hair using micro rings or bondings. If you only want long hair occasionally, you can attach extension clips to the wefts and wear your new hair as clip-in extensions.

3. Which hair types are human hair wefts particularly suitable for?
Hair extensions with wefts are especially recommended for fine hair. Since the weight of the wide hairpieces is distributed evenly across your natural hair—similar to tape extensions—sew-in human hair wefts put less strain on thin hair than other extensions. However, normal or thick hair can also be beautifully lengthened with hair weaves or human hair wefts.
4. How long do human hair wefts last?
The durability of a hair extension primarily depends on the quality of the hair and the care of the weft extensions. Furthermore, it depends on how your human hair wefts were attached to your own hair and how fast your natural hair grows.
If you have human hair wefts sewn in, they can remain in the hair for up to 2 months before they need to be moved up. Hair extensions with tape-ins last 6 to 8 weeks. After that, they must be reinstalled. If you choose to have your weft integrated with micro rings or bonding extensions, you will have a great mane for about 2 months. Clip-in wefts are suitable for a temporary hair extension because they must be removed from the hair before going to sleep.

5. How many human hair wefts do I need for a full hair extension?
The number of human hair wefts for a hair extension depends on the thickness of your natural hair and the desired look. For a hair extension on fine hair, one 100g human hair weft is usually sufficient. If you have normal or thick hair, you will need 150 to 200g of weft hair.
Tip: If you only want to thicken your hair, you can create more fullness with as little as 30g of hair weight.
6. How can human hair wefts be attached?
Weft extensions from hair2heart are versatile and can be used with different methods, namely as:
Hair Weaving
Most often, wefts are sewn into the hair using the weaving method (weaving extensions or hair weaves). They are gently attached to previously braided cornrows using a weft needle and special thread. Weaving extensions should be attached by a hairstylist.
Clip-in Extensions
With clips, you can easily attach human hair wefts to your hair yourself. Section off your top hair and secure the clip-in extension to the lower part of your hair. Then simply lay your hair back over it, and your hair extension is perfect.
Micro Ring Extensions
A human hair weft with micro rings is attached permanently using small metal rings and pliers. The weft is secured to the natural hair with small micro rings. Here, the human hair wefts can be moved up relatively easily, as you only need to press the rings open, slide the weft up, and press the rings shut again.
Gluing Human Hair Wefts
Wefts can also be attached using special hair glue. This method is often used for shorter durations or specific styling needs. However, for a gentle and long-lasting result, weaving or micro rings are often preferred.
