Micro ring hair extensions – also called micro loop hair extensions or micro bead extensions – add length and volume using small, lined metal rings that clamp around your natural hair. No heat, no glue, no chemicals. This makes them a gentle, sophisticated alternative to bonding, tape or weft extensions. 2. How are micro ring extensions applied?
There are two types: i tip extensions have a stick-shaped tip that is threaded through the ring with a needle, while micro loop hair extensions come with a built-in loop that makes threading much faster. In both cases, a strand of your natural hair is pulled through the micro ring, which is then clamped shut with special pliers.

3. Step by step: applying micro ring extensions
Unlike bonding or tape extensions, micro ring hair extensions require no glue or heat. With some practice, you can apply them at home.
Important: Wash your natural hair with a clarifying shampoo before application to remove all oil and styling residue – otherwise the strands may slip.
Here's how it works: wash, dry and thoroughly comb your hair. Work from bottom to top – section your hair at the nape and clip the top layers out of the way. Thread a strand of your natural hair through the micro ring using the needle (or the loop), then press the ring firmly shut with the pliers.
4. How long do micro ring hair extensions last?
With proper care, microring extensions can be worn for two to four months, depending on how fast your natural hair grows. The best part: you can reuse them. Simply open the ring with the pliers, reposition the strand higher up, and fix it with a new micro ring.
5. Quality levels: Standard vs. Premium
We offer micro ring hair extensions in two quality levels:
Standard Quality: High-quality human hair (predominantly from Southeast Asia) without a silicone coating. Lasts over three months with good care.
Premium Quality: Indian Remy human hair in salon quality with an intact cuticle layer. These extensions match the European hair structure perfectly and can be worn for up to six months (raw hair even up to one year). Available in lengths of 40 cm (16"), 50 cm (20") and 60 cm (24").

7. How many micro ring extensions do you need?
Each pack contains 25 human hair strands. The number you need depends on your desired result:
- Hair thickening: approx. 50–150 strands
- Hair lengthening: approx. 150–250 strands
For fine hair, 4–6 packs are usually enough; for normal density, 5–8 packs; and for very thick hair, 7–9 packs (based on 1g strands).
