The threading aid is an essential tool for applying microring extensions. There are microring needles available with a loop or a hook. With the loop needle, you can apply Nano and microring extensions as well as shrinkies quickly and easily. To attach extensions, slide the ring onto the needle and place a strand of natural hair into the loop. Now pull the loop along with the natural hair through the ring and squeeze it firmly with pliers. Done!

With the hook threader, you can just as effortlessly apply microring extensions, shrinkies, and feather extensions. Before applying the extensions, you can easily and precisely section your natural hair using the threader. To do this, place a template on the sectioned hair and use the hook to pull the natural hair through the holes.

Hook or loop?

You’re probably wondering what the big difference is. Quite simply – on the one hand, it’s a matter of preference. Some people find the hook easier to use, others prefer the loop. Generally, the hook is better suited for pulling hair through tight-fitting templates or for short natural hair. If you want to pull long hair through a microring (hair jewelry, etc.), we recommend choosing the microring needle with a loop.

Natural or stainless steel?

Whether you prefer the natural variant with a wooden handle or stainless steel – we have both. Both versions work the same way; the difference lies in the look and cleanability. Stainless steel tools are easier to clean and are mostly used for professional application by hairdressers and stylists. The handle of the surgical steel needle is textured, fits well in the hand, and prevents accidental slipping while applying microring hair extensions.
