With tape extensions, hair thickening or hair lengthening can be achieved in no time and completely without the use of heat – even for thin hair, as tape extensions skillfully distribute the weight through their wide attachment points. We offer particularly high-quality tape-in extensions made from human hair. These look very natural and feel wonderfully silky and soft.
Straight or wavy? Which color is best? Are you unsure which tape extensions suit you? Then simply send us a photo of your hair. Based on that, we can give you a color and/or length recommendation. It is only important that you make sure to take the photo outdoors in daylight, as this distorts the colors the least.

1. What exactly are tape extensions?
Tape extensions from hair2heart are human hair extensions that are attached to your hair using adhesive strips. In contrast to other methods, such as bonding extensions, no heat is used. The tapes are applied to your natural hair using the so-called sandwich method, creating a semi-permanent bond with your hairstyle.
2. What makes extensions from hair2heart special?
hair2heart tape extensions are human hair tape-in extensions and therefore look particularly natural. They blend perfectly with your own hair because they lie very flat against the head, are comfortable to wear, and can be applied relatively quickly.
You can order hair2heart tape extensions in two quality levels. The Standard Quality is the more affordable option. For the Premium Quality, we use exclusively Indian Remy human hair. In both cases, only human hair without a silicone layer is used.
3. Which hair types are human hair tape extensions suitable for?
In principle, tape extensions are suitable for every hair type. Even if you have thin hair, you can buy our tape extensions without any problems. Because the adhesive strips are very wide, the weight of the strands is optimally distributed. The hair roots of your natural hair are hardly stressed. This allows you to conjure up an impressive mane even with fine hair. By the way: even a voluminous ponytail is no problem with tape extensions.
4. How many tape extensions do you need for a full hair extension?
Those who want hair thickening can get by with 20-30 tapes (sometimes even 10 are enough) depending on the desired volume. For a full hair lengthening, you should expect approximately 40 to 50 tapes.
Tip: The exact number depends heavily on your hair structure. We recommend ordering one extra pack if in doubt. Unopened packs can be easily returned to us.
5. What accessories do you need for hair extensions?
Since the tapes at hair2heart are already pre-applied, you can start working them in immediately. You only need a tail comb and sectioning clips to precisely part your hair while you set the tapes.
6. How long does hair thickening with tapes last?
Since the tapes are applied near the roots, they grow out with your natural hair. Depending on hair growth, they must be removed after approx. 8 weeks, fitted with new replacement tape, and moved up again.
7. Are the hair extension tapes visible?
No, tape extensions are virtually invisible when applied correctly. The flat attachment points lie close to the head and ensure a particularly natural look.
8. Washing and caring for human hair extensions
Since human hair extensions are no longer supplied with nutrients from the scalp, they need an extra dose of care. Use special extension care products and a brush without nubs (pins).
Important: When applying, make sure that your natural hair is completely free of grease and styling residues (use a clarifying shampoo). After application, you should not wash your hair for 48 hours so that the adhesive can cure optimally.
9. Which hairstyles are possible with tape extensions?
Ponytail, bun, messy bun, or elegant braided hairstyles – everything is possible! Since the tapes are flat, they can be easily concealed under the top hair. When styling, just make sure not to pull abruptly on the attachment points.
10. Can hair tapes be used more than once?
Yes! With good care, Standard Quality hair lasts up to 3 months, and Premium Quality lasts 3 to 6 months. You can simply apply new replacement tape (available in our shop) and move them up again.
11. Interesting facts about extensions from hair2heart
Our extensions are Single Drawn, meaning they have natural tapered ends. This has the advantage that the hair falls more naturally and integrates perfectly into your own hair.
